Do everything in its own time. Do everything in earnest; if it is worth doing, then do it with all your might. Above all, keep much in the presence of God. Never see the face of man till you have seen his face who is our life, our all.
In the arena
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all of your strength. (Ecclesiastes 9:10a). But how do you know what is worth doing? How do you know its proper time? You start with what you know is the most important.
Tomorrow morning, before you check your phone, open your Bible, turn to a random Psalm, and pray through it. Seek God's face before you seek anything else. With that clarity, everything else arranges itself. Psalm 5:3 says it simply: "In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly." The men who get the most done are the men who start on their knees.
